New York Safe Boaters Class
The New York Safe Boaters course is designed as a comprehensive training on the fundamentals of safe boating operation. Regardless of your age you must hold a safety certificate in order to operate a personal watercraft (jet ski), in New York State. And if you are at least 10 years old and less than 18 years old, you must hold a safety certificate in order to operate a motorboat (including personal watercraft) in New York State.
Requirements:
- Must be 10 years old prior to the first class.
- Must attend all classes for a total of at least 8 hrs.
- Bring a pencil, workbooks will be provided
2009 Sessions:
June 6-7 Two (4hr) classes
July 13-14 Two (4hr) classes
August 3-7 Five (2hr) classes
August 10-14 Five (2hr) classes
