Interested in learning more about ferns, mushrooms, birds, or just nature in general? Come check out the nature center, located behind the Children's Pavilion. The nature center is the home of many displays of animal species and plants native to the Adirondacks. The entire family will enjoy learning about the natural history of the Lake George region. You can participate in stream studies, nature hikes, bird watching and identification, astronomy and evening lectures during the summer months. Also attend one of the many guided hikes offered throughout the summer.
The nature and hiking program is designed
to meet the needs of a wide variety of ages and experience levels.
