Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks is a century-old YMCA conference and training center on a 700-acre campus on the western shore of Lake George in the Adirondack Park in northern New York State.
Silver Bay is the ideal place for your affordable family vacation. Located in the heart of the Adirondacks on beautiful Lake George, Silver Bay is the perfect spot for families of all ages.
Bring the entire family to Silver Bay for your next family reunion to celebrate milestones, wedding anniversaries, special birthdays, or just come on vacation together- spring, summer, winter, or fall. We can help with all the planning, provide meals, programs, and accomodations for any family size. Stay in classic Adirondack cottages and cook your own meals. Stay in our Inn and lodge accommodations and we will provide three well-balanced delicious meals a day.
Silver Bay is a favorite site for weddings and receptions. Our historic picturesque stone chapel is the perfect place for Weddings, Baptisms , and Memorial Services. The chapel seats 200 and our banquet facilities can accomodate from 40 to 200 or more. Our conference service staff can provide every assistance for the future bride and groom to make their Adirondack wedding unique and special.
Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks is the perfect place for your organization's next retreat or conference. Silver Bay hosts over 300 groups each year. The peaceful Adirondack setting of our meeting rooms will suit conference planners for all types of events. Youth groups, church groups, business associations, professional organizations, YMCAs, school groups, and special interest organizations will all find Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks THE place to be for their next conference.
As a membership organization comprised of 1500 families from the local community and throughout the Northeast and around the world, we offer a place for all seasons. As a member of Silver Bay, you can swim and paddle on one of the cleanest lakes in the world; hike our many groomed trails, relax on the Inn porch in our famous rockers; or warm yourself in front of one of our many fireplaces after a vigorous snowshoe around campus in the winter.
As a community outreach organization, we provide services to our regional youth, adults and seniors through our:
Afterschool Program at the Ticonderoga Middle School
Youth & Government program
Youth Music Camp
Fitness and Social programs for youth and adults in the winter and spring months
Brookside/Trinity Community House Retreat Ministry.
