Afterschool and Vacation Camp Program
Learning and growing continues after the bell! Our Afterschool Program is more than childcare. It is a curriculum-rich program of activities staffed by professionals. The program has been created by Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks in partnership with Ticonderoga Central School. 

This program runs Monday through Friday 2:30pm-6:00pm.  And Vacation Camp is available 8:00am-4:00pm, to aid parents during school breaks.  See registration form for rates.

Community Membership
Every year from mid-December to mid-March Silver Bay opens its doors to the community including access to hiking trails, ice fishing, fitness center hours and more…  To register or learn more about the Community Membership stop by the Front Desk or call 543-8833 ext 214.

Dinner and a Movie
The 2nd Friday of the Month from September through May join us for Dinner and a Movie, this program is open to the community with a suggested donation of $5 to cover the cost of food.  See the Breeze for more information.

OPEN PATHWAYS
To assure Silver Bay is open to all, financial assistance is available through OPEN PATHWAYS.  Silver Bay offers sliding scale memberships for year-round residents of Warren and Essex Counties as well as the Town of Putnam based on need.  OPEN PATHWAYS is made possible through the generous contribution of our YMCA member and supported in the Annual Giving Campaign.  Contact our Guest Services Director at 518-543-8833 ext 235 for details and to obtain an application.

Silver Camp Day Camp
Silver Camp & Teen Program
Staffed by a dynamic team of Children’s Leaders, and guided by the YMCA Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility the children’s programs offers games, music, ice-cream making, crafts, archery, boating, climbing, fitness, hiking, overnights and of course making new friends.  Activities do vary based on age and weekly schedule.

Half Day-Silver Camp
Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am
Ages 6 weeks through entering 6th Grade

Half Day-Teen Program
Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am
Entering grades 7th through 12th
Program times may vary based on planned activities.
Some activities may require additional fees for off-site day trips and overnights.

Full Day- Silver Camp and Teen Program
Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
Entering grades 1st through 8th
This program includes swim lessons.
Transportation available for residents of Hague and Ticonderoga

This New York State Licensed Day Camp requires pre-registration, medical forms and additional fees.

Youth & Government
YMCA Youth & Government is a successful high school program that builds self-esteem and confidence, teaching youth about the principles of democratic government and allowing them the opportunity to interact with state officials.  Silver Bay oversees District 6 which includes programs at local high schools and Glens Falls YMCA.

Local Events
Healthy Kids Day!
Every April Silver Bay joins other YMCA’s by hosting Healthy Kids Day.  Join us as we help put play into your day by providing games, face painting, a bounce house, healthy snacks, and more! Bring your whole family to this free event and fill your day with fun. 

Hague Events
Silver Bay partners with the Town of Hague, the Chamber of Commerce and other community organizations to provide family programming for the following events:
Hague Winter Weekend: February 18-21, 2011
Hague Memorial Day Parade: May 29, 2010
Hague Oktoberfest: September 25, 2010
