The Craft Shop
Put on your creative hat and come fulfill your artistic desires! The craft shop offers a wide range of activities for all levels and ages of artist. Activities include: stained glass, silver jewelry, beading, weaving, enameling, pottery, glass fusion, candle making, basketry, and much more…. Sliver Bay’s skilled staff is here to help teach you a new skill or fine-tune existing skills. *Additional fee for materials Silver Bay also invites guest artisans to run weekly workshops.

Watercolor Classes
Bring home the memories of Silver Bay in a beautiful watercolor painting. Learn to paint with Silver Bay’s artist-in residence. Watercolor paintings by resident artists hang from the walls of the many historic buildings on the Silver Bay campus. Many of the artists took their first watercolor class at Silver Bay and continue to paint today. It is a common site to see adults and youth sitting on stools with their palettes in the unlimited scenic locations around the Silver Bay campus. Classes are designed for all levels and meet Monday through Saturday 9am-11:30am. *Additional fee for materials

Teen Art Classes Express yourself through art with your peers. Teens entering grades 7th through 12th will be experience several different mediums from watercolor and drawing to pottery and stained glass these classes are designed specifically for this age group. Concert & Lecture Series
Enjoy a lecture and learn more about yourself and the global communities. Silver Bay’s lecture topics include: history, health & wellness, current events, art, nature and the environment and much more….Or enjoy a concert surrounded by the wonderful acoustics of the auditorium, musical performances may include: bluegrass, jazz, classical, family oriented organ recitals in the Chapel.

During the Family Conference in August the concert and lecture series is enhanced with more lectures, more music and special programming.

Music Programs
Worship Choir
Come sing your heart out every Sunday with the Worship Choir. Choir rehearses before worship. Worship and Choir are open to the community at large.

Music Recitals
As a part of the Concert and Lecture Series the Silver Bay musicians-in residence, the String Quartet and Pianist perform on a weekly basis. They are also known to perform around the local area for community organizations and special events.

Summer Musical
Every August, Silver Bay employees volunteer their time and  present a musical in the historic Auditorium, a tradition since 1949. Proceeds from the show benefit the local Hague Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Departments and help defray the cost of production. The Summer Musical is available to the community at large.

Variety Shows
Throughout the summer, enjoy funny skits, great music, and all around talent at the Silver Bay Variety Shows performed by the Silver Bay employees a few times throughout the summer. Proceeds benefit Silver Bay Annual Giving, Emps Council activities and initiatives, and general support the Emp Program. Variety shows are available to those who purchased a Friends of Silver Bay membership.

Mozart Singers
(August 8th-12th, 2011) Led by Dr. Davis Giersch Mozart Singers rehearse Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 2:30 in preparation for our vespers performance Friday evening.  Mozart Singers is to those who love to sing great choral music.
