“We invite you to support Silver Bay’s mission and strengthen its impact on many more lives…one at a time.”
Since 1902 Silver Bay has been impacting lives one at a time. It’s the programs, the beautiful setting, and the people that make the experience. And from the beginning, Silver Bay people have been giving back to support the experience they cherish.
We invite you to support Silver Bay’s mission and strengthen its impact on many more lives…one at a time.

At Silver Bay volunteering is a tradition. 2009 was another outstanding year for Silver Bay’s volunteer program. Volunteers donated 8,092 documented hours working along side Silver Bay staff in building strong families, strong kids, and strong communities.
Volunteer Coordinator, Carroll LaPann, notes volunteer service is an important component of not-for-profit organizations like the YMCA. Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks is extremely grateful for all who volunteer their time and talent.
Please contact Carroll LaPann for further information on volunteer opportunities. Carroll can be reached at Clapann@silverbay.org or at (518) 543-8833 x 207.
“Volunteering a few hours a week gave me a chance to give to Silver Bay. It was a way to help others and a small percentage of time out of a week that I was blessed to be at Silver Bay.”
- Volunteer Laura Marks
