Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks is a 100-year old YMCA family retreat and conference center on Lake George. Silver Bay hosts conferences, family reunions, family vacations, weddings, and team building & leadership training on a 700-acre waterfront campus within the Adirondack Park of New York State. 

Silver Bay has a variety of accommodations from private-bath rooms and shared-bath rooms in historic buildings to private cottages located on the periphery of the campus. Silver Bay offers accommodations to fit all family’s needs and budgets.

Silver Bay also offers an array of meeting spaces to fit the needs of your family’s ranging from quaint enclosed pavilions to historic halls. As a courtesy to all groups, Silver Bay provides standard audio/visual as well as conferencing equipment and set up at no additional charge. 

At the heart of Silver Bay are dozens of activities for all ages. Experience lifetime activities including archery, boating, crafts, music, hiking, and much more.

Special Events

Silver Bay is the ideal location for your wedding or special event. Let us host your rehearsal dinner, reception, or catered event in the Boathouse overlooking the lake or in our stately Victorian Inn. Silver Bay also offers ceremony locations whether in our elegant stone Chapel or in Slim Point Pavilion. Our varied banquet facilities give all of your guests a unique Adirondack setting for your upcoming event.

Our event staff is available to help plan all of the details for your special event.

Silver Bay is a dry campus but for special events you can be granted permission to have Adult Beverages (Beer, Wine & Champagne Only Provided By The Person/s In Charge Of The Event). There is a policy and guidelines that must be followed as well as an application process that you must go through to have adult beverages at an event. We do not guarantee the date of any event until the application is approved. For additional information, please contact Conference Services.
